Office Manager/Front Desk/Assistant to the president

SJI Associates, a creative agency, is seeking a highly organized office manager/front desk person/assistant to the president. We need someone who can take great care of us, and our clients—sharp and attentive, with a warm and welcoming personality.

Interest in design, copywriting, or relevant field is a plus—the right candidate may have the opportunity to participate in creative projects, in addition to primary duties.

MUST HAVE: Positive attitude, ability to thrive in a fast-paced, but very friendly environment. Mac experience.General responsibilities include: -providing admin support to the president-answering phones-office inventory and supply orders-general office organization tasks-handling packages/messengers/mail-typing invoices, proposals, etc.-maintaining client database- help organize office parties (birthdays, etc) -keeping the kitchen area tidy: light wiping, some removal of trash in between office cleanings

Hours: 9 – 6

Our ideal candidate is organized, efficient, able to multi-task and prioritize accordingly. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills a must. Willing to jump in and assist with special projects when possible, from research to shopping and errands. Flexibility, a positive attitude and an open mind are all required. Ability to anticipate needs, with great follow-through.
