We created an engaging gift mailer to promote espnW’s new tagline.
CHALLENGE
When espnW geared up to introduce their new tagline and brand campaign, That’s a W., they asked SJI for help in raising awareness among busy industry and media leaders.
INSIGHT
The best way to make an immediate, can’t-miss impression on the target audience was to mail something right to their door: in this case, a package filled with a selection of thematic branded gifts.
APPROACH
We created a cohesive concept tying all the gifts together while reinforcing the new That’s a W. tagline at the same time. Each item was wrapped in a bellyband with copy tying into the new tagline: Show us your W., Recover from your W., and Wear a W. We designed a high-end, custom box and tissue paper to bring it all together, printed with a variety of foil and finishes.
The mailer was sent to industry and media influencers — including speakers at the espnW: Women + Sports Summit — in conjunction with the larger That’s a W. campaign, and has been a part of our continuing relationship with ESPN.
