Looking to create a new brand identity to encompass its ever widening range of media properties, Tribune Media sought out SJI. Our redesign brought Tribune’s brand into a new era, providing consistent branding for their diverse portfolio of television and digital properties, and a bold iconic impact across a wide range of digital, motion, and print tactics.
At the heart of the new identity is a strong, iconic mark created from the Tribune “T”, reinforcing Tribune Media as a new, forward-looking, premium company. The logo family includes color-coded versions for each division of Tribune Media.
A complete collateral system was developed and customized for each division. Digital backgrounds were created for use on company iPads and desktop systems.
Animations and style guidelines were provided, ensuring consistent usage of this bold new identity. The new system launched this past Fall, and has been successfully integrated into all aspects of company branding.
