Team Rubicon’s brand colors were leveraged to create a bold, striking design aesthetic that would immediately stand out in out-of-home tactics and was flexible enough to work across a wide range of sizes. Clear Channel Outdoor donated digital out-of-home media across the nation for use in the campaign, for which over 30 different executions were created.

Making a difference, one volunteer at a time
Team Rubicon is a global humanitarian organization, led by veterans, that is committed to serving communities faced with disasters and crises, when and where help is needed most. When they wanted to reach new types of volunteers, we created a digital out-of-home campaign showcasing a wide range of everyday people aiding in disaster relief, building on the idea that anyone could be a hero. The resulting campaign grew their volunteer base, and furthered their mission to respond to humanitarian crises around the world.
Create awareness and interest in Team Rubicon among service-minded people of diverse backgrounds, leading them to volunteer with the organization to aid global communities before, during, and after disasters.
In order to expand upon the organization’s traditional volunteer base of military veterans, we needed to effectively communicate that anyone of any background could help.
We created a campaign focused on individuals and the effect they could have, calling for potential volunteers to “be the one” to help those in need. Coupled with a series of images showcasing a diverse range of volunteers, we effectively communicated that everyone can make a difference.
